Friends of the Poor Walk

The St. Vincent de Paul Society at Sacred Heart invites you to join us for the Annual Friends of the Poor Walk at St. Michael’s Catholic Church on Saturday, September 30. The Friends of the Poor Walk is a nationwide event of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul that raises awareness and funds for the local services provided to neighbors in need.

There is NO registration fee. The walk starts at 11:30am; registration begins at 10:45am. Lunch is provided following the Walk. Please see a full event schedule below. There will also be a silent auction of themed baskets, which can be viewed after you register.

You may visit visit www.fopwalk.org to register/donate. Choose Virginia and then Richmond Council. 

• If you plan to attend the Walk, choose Register & Sacred Heart
• If you would like to donate, choose DONATE and specify Sacred Heart as the Conference. Or if you prefer, you may snail mail a check to SVdP 1400 Perry St., Richmond, VA 23224. 

We will also be tabling after the 4pm Mass on 9/23 and 8:30am Mass on 9/24. Come and see a Vincentian at our table and you will be able to register or make a donation then. Thank you in advance for your support.

12:20pm — Auction closes and winners determined
